March 27, 2008 I met this amazing author of Left to Tell, Ilibagiza Immaculee. She was speaking at Willamatte University in Oregon State. Wow! She is amazing. I loved how she says about forgiving even those who want to take away your life as she has forgiven people who killed her family and who were almost gonna kill her too:(
The most thing that was good is that she believes that God is the one who can change a life which I also believe. We were all happy to meet each other.

I was on my way home from Spring Break and was not able to get to Salem to listen to her story first hand. I was so bummed that I was going to miss her. I was hoping that she was going to be in the Portland area.

I also am a fan of Immaculee and am try to meet her. I found out the other day that she will be hosting a Marian Pilgrimage to Europe in the fall. What a great chance to spend some time with her! See: http://www.catholic.org/prwire/headline.php?ID=4811
I saw her on CNN, she is amazing. Her story is our story, I appreciate the way she counts the story.
